CINNAMON CUBES RECIPE
The recipe makes 24 cubes (servings). Nutritional value (per serving): 72 Calories, 6 g Fat, 1.7 g Carbs, 2.3 g Protein.
Ingredients that you need:
- 2 cups almond flour
- 1 cup unsweetened almond milk
- 2 tsp. cinnamon
- 1 cup xylitol powder
- 2 tbsp. homemade sugar-free jam
- 2 tsp. baking soda
For topping:
- 4 squares (40 g) dark chocolate (more than 80% cocoa)
- 1 tbsp. butter
Preparation:
Preparation of cinnamon cubes is really simple. Just heat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
Then put dry ingredients in a mixing bowl. Add almond milk and mix well (using electric mixer).
Now add 2 tablespoons of homemade jam and mix again.
Pour the mixture in a baking tray lined with baking paper and bake for about 30 minutes (or until dark brown).
When done, remove from the oven and leave it to cool shortly.
While brownies are cooling, melt the chocolate on the butter. Then cover the cinnamon cake with melted chocolate.
After the topping is solid, cut the cake to cubes.
Serve and enjoy with the cup of your favorite drink.
