DIY Skin Repairing And Moisturizing Cranberry Face Pack

Every skin type requires hydration and moisturisation. I believe perfectly moisturised skin can never look unhealthy, so I always try to keep my skin nourished. I consume a healthy diet and drink lots of water to keep my skin healthy. But sometimes my skin becomes dry and lifeless if I do not follow a healthy lifestyle. In such cases, I go for a nice homemade face pack to revive my skin. This time, I tried this DIY face pack with cranberries. Here is its full recipe and why it’s beneficial for your skin.

Ingredients and their Benefits:

Cranberry:
Cranberry offers many beauty benefits. It is rich in antioxidants, hence is loaded with Vitamin C, B3 and B5. It fights against skin ageing and keeps it youthful. It maintains the elasticity of the skin and also provides deep hydration. It makes skin bright and healthy, too. It also firms up the skin. Apart from this, it is a great ingredient for oily skin. Hence, it treats acne and prevents excess oil production.

Yogurt:
Yoghurt works amazingly to give you a glowing and smooth skin. The properties present in yoghurt make your skin smooth and soft. Since it is a dairy product it provides deep nourishment to dry skin and keeps your skin younger and flawless. It can perfectly repair dull, dry and rough skin and turn it into a bright, glowing, smooth and clear skin.

Apple:
Apple is a very popular skin care ingredient as it helps to make your skin beautiful. Apple’s antioxidant properties prevent cell damage and also deal with ageing issues. It also provides rich hydration to the skin. It effectively lightens and brightens the skin tone and adds a nice pink glow to it. Apple makes your skin smoother, softer and healthier. It is also effective on acne and dark spots.

Procedure:

Step 1:
First, you need to crush some cranberries and make a thick paste.

Step 2:
Then, prepare apple juice by blending some apple slices together. Now, take some plain fresh yoghurt or curd.

Step 3:
Take 1 tablespoon of yoghurt in a bowl and add cranberry paste to it. Mix both the ingredients well.

Step 4:
Add ½ to 1 tablespoon of apple juice to this paste. Now, combine all the ingredients smoothly and your awesome face pack is ready.

Step 5:
Now, apply a thick layer of this pack on your face and leave it on for around 15-20 minutes. Rinse the pack well once it sets and dries.

Results:

This face pack can repair rough skin and deal with other skin issues, too. Initially, I mainly used it to repair my rough skin but it offers many other benefits. First of all, it provides deep nourishment to the skin, which repairs dry texture and makes skin super soft and smooth. Apart from this, it also provides a very bright glow to the skin. Hence, this is a great way to make your skin healthy and radiant.

It also works on scars and has lightened my pimple spots too. It repairs dry patches and adds a healthy glow to the skin. I feel it is a great face pack for instant glow, so you can use it right before going to a party. It adds a radiant texture to the skin. People with dry skin will definitely love it but it works well for other skin types as well.
