Everyone who eats farmed fish (or any type of fish), must know that they are vaccinated. The Norwegian School of Veterinary Science (NSVS) claims that current fish farming industry has reached an industrial level. It makes use of advanced vaccines for eliminating losses due to infections.

John Wiley & Sons published a book in 2014 titled “Fish Vaccination”. The 400+ page book provides valuable information about the science behind vaccinating fish.

This presentation by researchers at the NSVS shows how this kind of vaccination in fish causes side effects. It is a guide on how to develop anti-microbial and disease-preventing power in fish. It also provides comprehensive guide on vaccinations that help in strengthening fish’s immunity.

The slide 10 of the presentation by NSVS states that farmers from Norway have noticed adverse side effects in fish that were given vaccination.

The next slides display other medical conditions in fish including granulomatous peritonitis and scratches in the abdomen which affected fish organs. This also resulted in the blackening of tissue.

Some of the slides in the presentation make contrasting remarks claiming that vaccines help in saving the lives of fish from infections caused by bacteria. This is claimed despite the point that many fish which are administered those vaccines have to suffer from side effects to their internal organs.

It is worth considering that if that is how vaccines affect fish, how will human vaccines affect human organs!

There is another interesting point in the slide – it is believed that fish may not have the sensation of pain! But this remark is also accompanied by a point that states that stunted growth and anorexia are the ideal indicators.

Slide 16 of the NSVS presentation displays liver granuloma in a fish. The slide 18 on the other hand displays the insides of a fish – it must especially be seen by those who consume farmed fish which are vaccinated. But we can hope that fish with diseases never reach the market to be sold to people.

On the other hand, there is also a probability that the damaged organs are already removed before the fish reach the market. You can only guess what would be the condition of GMO vaccinated fish.

The presentation also states that there is no information about the importance and impact of fish disease. Even if there are some reports, they are incomprehensive, with the reason being that there were certain arrangements between the manufacturers of vaccine and fish farmers. The claims have been supported by the Norwegian Medicines Agency (NMA). The situation can be compared to how things are going in the Vaccine Courts in the United States, especially keeping in mind that fish don’t have any rights.
