8 Home Remedies For Skin Whitening That Work Fast

The gram flour helps in removing the dullness of skin. The enzymes in tomato juice help in skin lightening while raw honey moisturizes the skin and provides an antibacterial effect.

How to use: Take 1 or 2 tablespoons of gram flour and a teaspoon of raw honey. Add enough amount of tomato juice to make a smooth paste. To use, apply the cleanser over the face and work in the same way you do with regular facial cleanser. Wash it off with lukewarm to normal water. For better results, use the cleanser at least once a day.

2. Hibiscus toner:

AHAs present in hibiscus help in improving the skin complexion and texture. Vitamin C helps in lightening the skin tone while vitamin E moisturizes the skin and improves its complexion.

How to use: Brew a strong cup of hibiscus tea and let it cool. Add a quarter spoon of vitamin C powder and a few drops of vitamin E oil to it. Pour the mixture into a dark-colored spritz bottle and keep it refrigerated. To use, spray over the face and you are ready to go. Do not forget to shake the bottle well before use. Always wear a sunscreen when using products with vitamin C.

3. Saffron and rosemary toner:

Saffron helps in reviving the dull skin and makes it look brighter and lighter while rosemary hydrates and tones up the skin. The combination of saffron and rosemary fights the signs of aging as well. The use of essential oil in the toner refreshes the skin.

How to use: Take a half cup of chopped rosemary herb and pour a cup of warm water over it. Cover the dish and let the water cool. Later, add a few saffron strands to it and leave the mixture overnight. Next morning, strain the water infused with rosemary and saffron. Add a few drops of lemongrass or lavender essential oil to it and mix well. Pour the mixture into a spritz bottle and keep it refrigerated. Shake well before use.
