The study recorded an improvement for 80% percent of the children when using cedarwood oil similarly.<span id=\"ezoic-pub-ad-placeholder-141\" class=\"ezoic-adpicker-ad\"><\/span><span id=\"ezoic-pub-ad-placeholder-115\" class=\"ezoic-adpicker-ad\"><\/span><\/p>\n<p>Cedarwood essential oil has a high concentration of sesquiterpenes, which improves oxygenation of brain cells.<span id=\"ezoic-pub-ad-placeholder-139\" class=\"ezoic-adpicker-ad\"><\/span><span id=\"ezoic-pub-ad-placeholder-143\" class=\"ezoic-adpicker-ad\"><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span id=\"ezoic-pub-ad-placeholder-116\" class=\"ezoic-adpicker-ad\"><\/span><span id=\"ezoic-pub-ad-placeholder-137\" class=\"ezoic-adpicker-ad\"><\/span><span id=\"ezoic-pub-ad-placeholder-138\" class=\"ezoic-adpicker-ad\"><\/span>Vetiver is known to calm and balance the nervous system while stimulating the circulatory system, according to Dr. Friedmann, who stated:<span id=\"ezoic-pub-ad-placeholder-121\" class=\"ezoic-adpicker-ad\"><\/span><\/p>\n<div class=\"code-block code-block-3\"><\/div>\n<blockquote><p><em>\u201cWhen the essential oil is inhaled, the micro droplets are carried to the limbic system of the brain, which is that portion that is the processing center for reason, emotion and smell, and to the hypothalamus, which is the hormone command center.<\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<blockquote><p><em>The essential micro droplets are also carried to the lungs where they enter the circulatory system.\u201d<\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Improvements in brain activity were recorded via electro-encephalograph (EEG), which measures electrical impulses moving through the brain. The measurements showed researchers whether the children\u2019s brains were functioning primarily in a beta (i.e., alert) state or a theta state (i.e., lack of focus).<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-6312\" src=\"http:\/\/www.loveforhealthyfood.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/11\/kid-bored-adhd-750x500.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"750\" height=\"500\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.loveforhealthyfood.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/11\/kid-bored-adhd-750x500.jpg 750w, https:\/\/www.loveforhealthyfood.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/11\/kid-bored-adhd-750x500-300x200.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.loveforhealthyfood.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/11\/kid-bored-adhd-750x500-450x300.jpg 450w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 750px) 100vw, 750px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Improvements in beta-theta ratios were then noted following the use of vetiver essential oil, while parents also noted improvements in symptoms. Dr. Friedmann reported:<span id=\"ezoic-pub-ad-placeholder-154\" class=\"ezoic-adpicker-ad\"><\/span><\/p>\n<blockquote><p><em>\u201cI received several letters from parents of the ADHD children stating that their behavior at home had improved for the better.<\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<blockquote><p><em>In several cases, they also stated that school educators informed them that their performance was observed to improve in the classroom.
