I had developed a lot of dark skin around the neck but knew nothing would work during pregnancy. So, I started trying this DIY scrub in the postnatal stage. And, I am already seeing a lot of difference in my skin. Let\u2019s find out more about it.<\/p>\n<h3>You need:<\/h3>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/victoriasglamour.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/10\/DIY-Scrub-for-Dark-Skin-Around-the-Neck-Step.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-19223\" src=\"http:\/\/victoriasglamour.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/10\/DIY-Scrub-for-Dark-Skin-Around-the-Neck-Step.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"800\" height=\"556\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Honey<br \/>\n\u2022 A potato<br \/>\n\u2022 Turmeric powder<br \/>\n\u2022 An empty bowl<br \/>\n\u2022 A spoon<br \/>\n\u2022 And a scraper<\/p>\n<h3>Procedure:<\/h3>\n<p><strong>Step one:<\/strong><br \/>\nTake an empty bowl and add less than half a teaspoon of turmeric powder.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/victoriasglamour.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/10\/DIY-Scrub-for-Dark-Skin-Around-the-Neck-Step-2.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-19224\" src=\"http:\/\/victoriasglamour.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/10\/DIY-Scrub-for-Dark-Skin-Around-the-Neck-Step-2.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"800\" height=\"533\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>Step two:<\/strong><br \/>\nThen add some honey to the turmeric powder.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/victoriasglamour.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/10\/DIY-Scrub-for-Dark-Skin-Around-the-Neck-Step-3.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-19225\" src=\"http:\/\/victoriasglamour.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/10\/DIY-Scrub-for-Dark-Skin-Around-the-Neck-Step-3.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"800\" height=\"538\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>Step three:<\/strong><br \/>\nThen grate a small piece of potato into the honey and turmeric. You can grate it directly into the bowl or do it separately, as you like it.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/victoriasglamour.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/10\/DIY-Scrub-for-Dark-Skin-Around-the-Neck-Step-4.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-19226\" src=\"http:\/\/victoriasglamour.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/10\/DIY-Scrub-for-Dark-Skin-Around-the-Neck-Step-4.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"800\" height=\"587\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>Step four:<\/strong><br \/>\nMix and muddle the grated potato well into honey and turmeric to make a nice exfoliating paste. You don\u2019t have to add water to this mixture since potato contains a lot of moisture.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/victoriasglamour.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/10\/DIY-Scrub-for-Dark-Skin-Around-the-Neck-Swatch.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-19227\" src=\"http:\/\/victoriasglamour.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/10\/DIY-Scrub-for-Dark-Skin-Around-the-Neck-Swatch.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"550\" height=\"475\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<h3>How to use:<\/h3>\n<p>Scrub regularly with this paste for around 8-10 minutes. Then, wash off with soap and warm water. You may find a little yellow stain on your skin but it will go away soon. This scrub is very effective and has removed darkness from my neck area. You can use it as often as you like but don\u2019t forget to moisturise your skin. Please do a patch test before using this recipe, especially if you have sensitive skin. You can use this scrub even on your elbows and knees.<\/p>\n<h3>Benefits of turmeric powder:<\/h3>\n<p>\u2022 Acts as an antiseptic<br \/>\n\u2022 Helps in removing tan<br \/>\n\u2022 Works well on acne and scars<br \/>\n\u2022 Makes the skin glow<\/p>\n<h3>Benefits of honey:<\/h3>\n<p>\u2022 Acts as a moisturizer<br \/>\n\u2022 Softens the skin<br \/>\n\u2022 Adds a glow to the skin<br \/>\n\u2022 Helps fade blemishes<\/p>\n<h3>Benefits of potato:<\/h3>\n<p>\u2022 Prevents ageing of skin<br \/>\n\u2022 Removes tan and darkness<br \/>\n\u2022 Reduces dark patches<br \/>\n\u2022 Protects the skin<br \/>\n\u2022 Shrinks large pores<\/p>\n<p>I am really happy with this DIY since it is showing a huge difference on my skin.
